Bloggin' it up

Usually I've avoided blogging or twittering or doing anything else that I kind of equate to people shouting the tedious details of their lives into a giant hole. But yesterday I was reading my sister's blog and it made me think that maybe I should start up a blog of my own. Why not, I thought, I've had a relatively interesting life these past few years, maybe it would be worth while having something to record my thoughts and experiences. I also give me a simple and economical way of keeping in contact with friends and relatives, which I'm admittedly very bad at doing. So there we go.
